Swapped hoods with my s13's, hoodpins don't fit?

I don't know if anyone else has ever come across this problem before.

On my pignose s13 I had no trouble moving the wiring harness out from under the radiator support and tightening down my hood pins. The driver's side was a little higher than the passenger side, but it wasn't enough to make a difference.

On the driver's side, there is a hardline there (A/C condenser line?) that is blocking the hoodpin from going all the way down. No problem... the hoodpins still latch without a problem.

Upon transferring the hoodpins to my chuki s13 the same hardlines from before are now positioned slightly differently so that now, the same driver's side hoodpin will not go down far enough.

So i guess my question is, can anyone with a 91-93 s13 explain how they setup their hoodpins?

I'm considering cutting one of the pins a little shorter to make it fit.

Here's a pic of the original install on my fastback.
If anyone is wondering, I'm inserting the hoodpins into the factory predrilled holes on the radiator support.
