s14 Timing chain and oil leak

So I had a 95 240 I'm considering buying inspected (as a replacement for my girl who bit the dust thanks to an idiotic driver ), and they're telling me that there is some oil leaking from around the area of the timing chain?

Records on the car indicate that two owners ago (1yr), at around 120k miles, the chain snapped and messed a few things up, but all of that was replaced.

I'm just curious if anyone has any thoughts as to what/where might be leaking, and just how hard it would be to replace the seals in that area (from what they said it doesn't sound like its coming from the top of the valve cover). I'm sorry I can't be more detailed, the car is out of state so this is all I have to go on.

The mechanics gave me some BS about 13 hours of labor to fix it, but I'm getting the feeling they're hoping the fact that I have boobs makes me stupid . I'm thinking me and some guys could handle fixing this at home....thoughts?
