Advice on 30mm z32 calipers+s13 SE wheels

So I searched around and it sounds like only the 26mm calipers clear the stock s13 SE wheels. Its the single rib wheel and the guy I got them off of was running 26mm calipers, so I know atleast that much will fit. Right now, I've got parts set up for a 30mm setup, because I've always heard people say that the SE wheels will fit a z32 brake conversion.

So now, I'm thinking about running a spacer in the front. Was wondering if anyone out there is running the same setup of 30mm calipers with the SE wheels and a spacer. I'm guessing I need a 5mm spacer (30-26=4) to clear but I'd like to hear from anyone who's actually done it. Also, the type of spacer you've used and how reliable they were would be awesome too. Or, if you've fit the 30mms without a spacer, I'd like to hear from you =)
