s13 stupid tranny problem

First off i searched and didn't find what IM looking for, i know the part number and i understand the trannys are all the same, for the most part.

So i have a s13 with a redtop sr20 swap. I just replaced my clutch and i replaced what i think is the output shaft seal. If I'm correct that is the small black seal that goes into the end on the tranny where the driveshaft goes into, or is that called the input shaft seal. If I'm correct on the part what is the input shaft seal?. I did not use a nissan part, i bought one from a local parts store. Tonight i replaced that real i put on because it was leaking. And i got the same spec output shaft seal that nissan tells you to use. Still leaks. I also found the shifter bushing i didn't have. But i drove it for 15 means and noticed it is very hard to shift into different gears whale I'm moving. It goes in fine if i shift fast but makes a minute grinding sound. I'm thinking i might have put the shifter back in wrong. But please don't tell me its my sincros that went out. So I'm going to take my drive shaft out to make sure its not pitted, but what seal is the correct one for my car? Input, output? This is my dd and i don't want to be stuck without a car any longer. ohh and do i need a dust cover for my drive shaft? Because i don't have one.
