When I was referring to the "#5", I meant on the relay "#5 leg" as you call it. That is indeed the hot wire to the fuel pump, this I already knew. The relay is fine, because I already tested the "#5 leg" with a wire directly connected from that leg to the hot wire on the pump, and with the pump grounded, it works. You said: "then for 5, run your own wire to the fuel pump's positive wire. congratulations, you have now bipassed your stock fuel pump wiring that's all screwed up" So what your saying is that I can just cut the #5 wire on the relay and use my own wire, run it through the car, and splice it to the TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP SENDER??? Thanks again. |
