Need Help! Installed Fuel Pump and...

now the car keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse. It took me 3 fuses to get around the block and home. Here's what i did after starting car and taking fuel fuse out to relieve pressure.

1. Took fuel assembly out
2. Put new Filter in with sock at bottom
3. Cut both red and black wires
4. Crimped to new Harness, making sure red went to red, black to black
5. pluged harness in
6. Installed new hose
7. Put everything back together

I might not of mentioned every special detail, but thats basically what i did. Now the car keeps blowing that fuse. I noticed that when its in the garage idling, or being reved, its fine. But the fuse blows as soon as i start driving (making turns, bumps, etc.). Do You guys think maybe the stock walbro connectors are causing this to short? Would gasoline touching where i crimped the wires together, cause the fuse to keep blowing?
