hey guys so anyway i bought a 92 se hatch a couple weeks ago and its my first stick. now ive read about the redline at 6 and the stock specs. but id like to get some info from the ppl who actually DRIVE the car.

for the daily drive i shift at about 3-3.5 and it gets me 20mpg. but i do like to bring it up to 6 when im gettin on the freeway n such to really hear the engine. but exactly HOW far can i take this car?

SPECS:
92 SE hatch
stock KA
stock tranny
195,000 miles. been a garage baby tho. runs smooth.

so plz tell me. how far can i push, how much can it take, and whats the best shift point to keep the mileage(college student
