What's going on with my wiring?

Ok. Something happened to my wiring as I was driving my car 2 nights ago. I just recently finished my sr20det swap in my 1990 hatchback, and it was running fine except for an obvious boost leak... The other night I'm driving along for a good 10-15 minutes and everything seems great... At about the 20 min marker the car just shits itself, no power what so ever shaking like fuel starvation and when i took my foot off the pedal it would die and sometimes regain itself or if i popped the clutch... I later realized that night that my alternator wasn't grounded at all. The ground for it was grounded to my chassis instead, so I hooked that up appropriately.

Got the car home, figured it was my fuel pump since i wasn't hearing it prime anymore, so I replaced the fuel pump. Still not priming. Also my gauge cluster red bulb indicators stay on when my key is out of the ignition... In fact, my entire ignition system stays powered the entire time with the key out until I unplug the battery. (I can use my turn signals wipers etc etc with the key out)

I've already tried a friends working ECU and there's no change at all. I've also completely ripped apart my alarm system so it's no longer connected... I'm running out of ideas and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem...

It almost feels like a bad ground somewhere... But I can't pinpoint it.

edit:

*sigh* I found the problem. I made a big electrical mistake and soldered 3 wires together (one of which being a much smaller gauge) inside of a big soldering knot. Apparently this built up too much energy for the smaller gauge wire (happening to be my O2 sensor wire) and ended up melted that wire and the wires around it inside my harness.

Looks like I'll be buying a new harness. Fuck.
