hey guys, my 96 240sx is throwing a P1447 aka evap purge flow monitor. one of my friends work at inifiniti and he sed its better to just replace the whole system and flush out the charcoals.. but i know it'll cost a lot. should i go ahead and replace system? what other options do i have? i need to do it soon because i need to smog my car.. damn SMOG!!

any help will do..
