We aren't saying 400hp can't be driven on the street. Just keep in mind that a small displacement motor making a lot of power really can only do it at high rpms. That type of setup you generally look at a lot of turbo lag. Now, looking at this turbo from my "I really don't know a whole lot about turbos" perspective, it is taking a small turbo, modifying it with bigger guts for the main purpose of passing as stock. Beyond that, a quick spooling turbo. Generally from what I see, you have small quick spooling turbos that produce OK power, and big slow spooling turbos that can produce a lot. That seems tob e what's making us wary on this HP claim.


Back on topic. AFCs are basically able to vary fuel going into your engine a certain percent. The s-AFC I recall reading varied that value up to 50% (correct me if I'm wrong). I could see this working OK with the next size up (550cc?), but you are tuning at the very edge of it's capabilities with 740s.
