Well I'm still in the process of looking for an s14, and I'm not sure if I want one with an SR or not I was just wondering whats the worst that can happen exactly if you get your hood popped? Do you just get a state ref, then fix it pay the fine and you're clear? Can they impound your car? More info would be great, thanks!

P.S - tried searching but didn't get exactly what I was looking for.. maybe I didn't search hard enough ):
