Actually, the Evo VIII worldwide gets the same taillights.

Also, those taillights were actually a carryover from the previous Evo VII GTA. The GTA was a luxury model of the Evo VII that came with those taillights, smaller wing (the same one we can get as an option), and a tiptronic-style automatic trans.
