KA DE starting problems

When it gets power, the car starts, no problem. But there is something that is preventing the starter from getting power about 75% of the time.

What I have done:
1. Old key, got the spare to make sure it wasnt the key.
2. Battery is fine.
3. Clutch safety switch bypassed.
4. Relay is fine.
5. Solenoid and starter are both fine.
6. I have got a switch hooked up to start it now, but I want the key to start it!!!!

Is there anything I have missed before I get into the ignition, etc.??????
