I thought someone might know anything about RB20s .So i bought a new harness from wiring specialties and put that on leaving only the IACV disconnected cuz my solenoid is damage(previous harness was iron/solder to the IACV unit). Car starts but backfiring and throwing some blue/blackish smog and the pipe.drove it a lil hesitating but reving then out of no where shut off. Turn it back on and started but when accelerates dies or stalls. Anyone know if an IACV could do this?? or prehaps a bad MAFS?? or timing?? I was having this same problem even before i got the new harness thinking the old harness was the cause cuz it looked like spaghetti (wires everywhere and damage)
