I've been meaning to make a thread for my girl's new project, but we haven't had the time. I'll try to keep it short, post pictures, and links to her videos below.

Basically, she got this BARE coupe shell for free from Max (CleanAndLegit) in November 2011. Within the first month, we got all the body work done and painted at home. Next, we pieced together all the interior, suspension (Stance coilovers, 5-lug), and parts for her motor rebuild.

We pulled a few all-nighters to put together the motor and finally dropped it in last weekend. Now, we just have to finish painting her front end and the rest of the kit.

Our goal is to get most of it done for Formula Drift in Long Beach.. Other mods and upgrades will come as soon as she saves up. Eventually, she'll be learning to drift in this car. We'll keep you updated as the car comes along. Enjoy.

New wheels! They're custom MB Drifters without the holes.

Ali's Machine Shop in Signal Hill. Dropped it off Monday. Got it back on the same Friday.

Spent a whole weekend putting her motor back together.

Plasti gauging all the bearings.

All clearances good. Crank installed.

Torqued and cleaned!

ARP head studs and Felpro head gasket installed.

Head, 248/248 cams, and timing chain installed.

Powertrain in, ready to go. Brakes and clutch bled.

Installing new lower control arms and PBM tension rods from Jeremy.

All we have left to do is prep and paint the front end and kit.

Aerocatch install.

That's how she stands for now. Hopefully finishing up the kit and front end by the end of this week.
