KA24DE set up for boost or nay?

I have a s14 kouki that i bought from a guy that didnt know anything about the car. I have a KA24DE, that you can tell was rebuilt, engine is clean and painted, i look inside where you put oil and the inside of the head looks brand new, but the thing is that i have 150psi compression, people that looked at the car told me i might have low compression pistons like the car was going to be set on boost or was on boost, like the guy before maybe parted the car and sold turbos, or idk what happened but i have 150psi straight across but this motor runs clean, drive fine and is clean inside.

Thing is i really dont wanna open the engine up to see the pistons, is there any other way i can tell i have these pistons? i looked in the sparkplug hole but i really dont know what im looking for, thanks for the help.
