SoCal FS/FT 1976 Datsun 280Z
SOLD. SOLD. SOLD.
I don't really want to do it but I must sell my 1976 Datsun 280Z project car to pay for school and rent ![]() I'm are asking $3000 OBO. I've had the car for about 3 years. The engine is a L28, the mileage is unknown. Its pretty good on gas and has no problems passing smog (its emission levels score better than average). It sounds like its grinding a bit when its in motion and I'm almost positive that its the diff (I swapped the transmission and it did not change the sound). The car runs just fine. I've had no problems except the ones listed below. I've only started hearing the grinding noise just a few months ago. PROS: - 16" rims with a 0 offset - full exhaust (pacesetter headers, 3" piping) - 5-speed - Optima Red Top Battery - ZG fender flares - Slotted front Rotters - JDM Front Spoiler - Exedy Clutch - 260z Front and Rear bummers w/ conversion brackets - New master cylinder - new alternator - new battery - new belts CONS: - needs new bushings - needs a new diff - needs new brakes - Driver door has some issues with its lock (so it can only be opened from the inside) - needs paint (restoration process started but not complete) Extras: - Hanes Z manual - Other restoration Z books - 240z rear tail lights assembly - Extra 5 speed transmission from another Z (supposedly rebuilt about 4 years ago) I will not part out the car or the extras that go with it! This is a project car so it is sold as is. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...81913253_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...39016308_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._4103307_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...14535433_n.jpg and for no reason, here is a video of when i got the exhaust system done. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ8mfpu19HY
