s13 clutch went and now its back?

Well a few minutes ago, I was screwing around with a civic in my s13 hatch with an s13 sr stage two clutch with tomei lightened Fly Wheel and im pretty sure my TOB has been going bad for a while.... And after im all done and coming to a stop at a light, there was alot of grinding noises in the tranny (like a tooth from a gear bouncing around in the tranny), and my clutch pedal went all the way to the floor and wouldnt come back up with out pulling on it with my foot. accompanied by no power when in gear.

Naturally I was like FML, so I turned off the car and look at everything, fluid level in the clutch master was good ( but it was dark grey and bubbly, not hot though), no fluid leaks, no big holes in tranny (LOL). So short of taking everything apart, everything looks ok'ish. So I get back in my car and start pumping the clutch like crazy hoping for a miracle... and after a while I hear another slightly less awful rattle ( the engine is still off) and the pedal comes back to life!?!? then I procede to drive home like nothing happened.

Any ideas? or am I crazy/ retarded? Is this what hapens when the shifter fork ball thing breaks? or maybe I shot a ball bearing out of my TOB and it lodged in my clutch?
