Walbro Install: Gas Gauge Always Reads Past Full

A walbro fp was installed during my SR swap, and ever since my gauge has not read correctly. Most of the time it reads above the full line and sometimes wonders around a bit. A friend who was helping with my swap installed the fp while I was putting the motor in, so I have not personally seen the inner workings of the install. I have tried a couple different clusters to rule out any issues with that. I'm very unfamiliar with fuel systems, so I'm not exactly sure what to look for or test to diagnose this. Can the sending arm get stuck, or does this sound like a wiring/resistance issue? The gas gauge worked perfectly fine before installing the pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
