gauge question???Aftermarket/custom:)
ok, im getting a few misc. gauges, such ass boost, oil pressure and such, but sooner than later im going to a cusotm cluster, with analog gauges, from autometer, screw a bunch of electronics, goin all mechanical except fuel level and tach, but i have a question the only 3 3/8 in dash tach is electric, how would i go about sending a signal to it? autometer says it "Operates on 4, 6, or 8 cylinder engines with standard, electronic, and most high performance racing ignitions with 12 volt power." and they sells a tach adapter that says it will do this "
Allows any Auto Meter standard ignition tachometer, pro-Shift Lite, or RPM activated module to be used on distributorless ignition." http://hp.autometer.com/products/acc...converter.html how and where would i go about hooking this up and would i even need the adapter, i have an sr if it matters |
