I like to mount them behind smoked plexi. I also disassemble the gauge and paint the inside all black. Otherwise you may see some of the white text though the plexi.

Do you have a walk through on how to disassemble the gauge or advice on how to do it? I noticed that you used duct tape on the gauge when you were done, is this used because of disassembling it?
