Hey, I have a s13 with a sr20. I replaced my transmission recently because 2nd gear was gone. After replacing it, the reverse lights stayed on. I figured the switch was bad and I replaced it. When I hole the switch in my hand, I can turn the lights on and off. But when I put it in the trans and put it in reverse, nothing happens.

Since it worked perfectly before, what in the transmission operates the reverse light switch?
