My 89 SOHC transmission makes this grinding and whirling noise when i'm in neutral and the clutch pedal is not depress. It also makes this noise while i'm driving. The noise is really loud and annoying but the transmission shifts fine. The transmission would only stop making this noise when the car is not moving and the clutch pedal is depress. So is it the throw out bearing, or my transmission is going bad??
