260 Miles On A Full Tank, Whats Wrong?*UPDATE*

sup, I just bought my s13 about 3 weeks ago. Love it. The only problem is I get only around 260 miles to a full tank and thats highway driving only. The car does have a check engine light on. Had it diagnosed and it is a bad egr valve solenoid. Well im getting the solenoid valve replaced tomorrow. Could this valve cause poor gas milage. Car is bone stock, runs great through. I hope the valve does fix the gas milage problem. Also have an idle issue, the service writer said the valve should fix the idle problem also so im crossing my fingers.

*UPDATE*

well the nissan dealer finally got my egr solenoid valve in. I had it installed and man what a fuccen difference. Check engine lights out, car idles like a champ. It use to idle at 1100 rpm and bounce between that and 900 rpm. At idle it felt like the car was rocking back and fourth. Like if your car would to break down on the freeway and cars were flying by you. Well now it idles steady at 850rpm. ( is that normal, my honda's use to idle at 950) Seems a little low. I cant tell you if the gas milage improved though cuz I havnt drove a full tank yet since, but i will update ya on that.
