I have the apexi multichecker and im sure that the installation is similar(but probably less wiring). And if its anything like the multichecker, you can find your engine code in the back. But i imagine you just splice into the speed signal and the tach signal going into the dash. You can probably use the multichecker install instructions on 240sx.org it has a pinout of the  ecu and can probably help you decide what to splice into.
