sorry for the noobness but i was wondering if backfire was bad for the engine... i hav an sr swap in my 92 240 with full 3 inch piping for the exhaust (strait pipe too)... when i stay in the same gear for a while (20 seconds maybe) not pressing on the gas my car will backfire really loud... really really loud... i never really had a chance to look back there so i dont know if fire was coming out or what... anddddd... how do you get tht pop thing you see on race cars?... thanks
