Greddy Oil Pan

i havent put on my greddy oil pan yet, but i noticed that there are two holes on the side of the pan. one of the holes comes with a plug to plug it up but the bigger hole is left open. do you put your stock drain plug on there or is it for sensors? is this where you're suppose to drain oil from? the side of the pan?

for those with the greddy oil pan, does the oil flow out well since its on the side of the pan as opposed to the bottom? i know the pan is a little tilted, but ive never seen it like this.
