You may also look into the S13 blacktop SR as well. There are very subtle differences between the blacktop and the S15, but you can easily adress the issues of the blacktop and have an engine that is just as reliable and much easier to work with.

Not from personal experiance but yes i have been told by lots of owners they hated it and went back to 5 speed and stopped having mission issues.

if u gonna abuse it or drift with it or mod over 310hp, yes i might be weak, but as original daily driven, its a very nice transmition to play with. 65mph 2500rpm and 80 at 3000... nuff said
The tranny ratios are exactly the same in final drive between the 5spd and 6spd trannys....
if you looking to change your final drive ratio, the diff is what would do it

i dunno about the gear ratio stuff so i just imagining...
even they have the same final drive between 5-6, by the time i hit 5 gear, the car has achieve higher speed then the 5 speed one, so i need less throttle/effort to get to 65 or whatever speed i desire (base on gas saving driving ie. shift at 3k rpm) ?
i dunno about these stuff, correct me if im wrong
