yea, but think about it bro, track coilovers are made for the track. they arent made for offroad adventures and shitty american roads.
I dont think the engineers that make coilovers take potholes and 2 inch steel steps in the road on euclid and harbor blvd into account when they designed the coilovers. so it wouldnt suprise me that 3 yrs of hard driving on the street would lead to a rebuild =( personally id rather have GOOD coilovers and have to rebuild them and spend a lot vs having crappy coilovers for 3 yrs =P as for tie rods, its all about what grade of metal is used. of course theyre gonna look the same, its a tie rod. but if you have some crappy metal made out of scrap metal (like rota did for its wheels) of course its not going to hold up as well as kazama or SPL. but hey if its a grocery getting just get the megans. haha |

So much misinformation coming from people.
Aftermarket in/out tierods do more than just give you more angle. They are stronger. Yes anything is subject to breaking when you crash. When you run big wheels that put extra stress at full lock, cheaper outters are subject to snapping. Some have even snapped kazama. Anyone ever mess with the bumpsteer adjustment? That is reason enough right there for outters. Er, nevermind. Only 4x4's here. I only drink Kona Nigari. Real mens water.
