You can go over a 3.5 inch drop before needing toe rods as long as you aren't trying to run something stupid like -0.5 camber.

camber is at -1.5 iirc

i'd be seriously surprised if my subframe was bent.
perhaps the lowering of the subframe with spl collars changed the geometry slightly and reduced the range of adjustment?
