Thanks for the help guys. God, i hope i dont need new rings. I'm going to have the car on a lift pretty soon, so i will take a look at all the things you suggested before i take it there. Hopefully it's just the filter or pan gasket. That's what was wrong on my friend's car a when he had the same problem.
