My rear emblems were removed when I had my car painted, but I haven't put them back on yet.  I used a fine grit sandpaper on them and it gave it a brushed aluminum look.  Looks cool, but I was actually trying to rought them up so that I could paint them black.  

Which do you think would look better?  I like the black emblem look.

what's rice about that?  just stay away from the day-glo green or "adds horsepower" yellow.
