If you gap your plugs a little wider this can help too.  Say to like .043  (max suggested in FSM)
An ignition system will help your mileage as well.
-Pretty much anything that allows the engine to breath Easier, and burn fuel more efficiently will improve gas mileage.  Of course for me, the problem is those things also increase Peak Horse power for the same reason.  Increased Efficiency.  I always end up driving harder b/c I have more power, and gas mileage goes down Rapidly when your at WOT all the time.

Also increase your Tire pressure.  This will reduce rolling resistance.
