ANDRE 3000, by FAR the top MC.

Even NAS said that in his top 3 mc, he said one of them was 3000.

If you've heard Andre's verse in Unk's Walk It Out Remix, then you'll understand why.

Or, take a step back in time and ride out to Outkast's first album Southernplayalisticcadillacmuzik. That was some GANGSTER shit man.

I also agree with that list, although the term "MC" differs a bit when you refer to the south.

Out of that list I think the most lyrically "genius" would have to be 3000 or Luda.

Scarface and Bun B are fire too, but I'd consider them more pioneer rappers in the South than "MC's." If that makes any sense.
