Well, I got the B&M in and some fresh Amsoil Series 2000 75w90 gear oil. Let me just say this...the shifting is so short I don't even have to move my arm. I can do the whole thing by just flicking my fingers. It's sick. BUT, the shift action is MUCH heavier than stock or the OBX. And the side to side motion is very firm. I think it would be impossible to miss 3rd with this shifter. 1st and 2nd are harder to find than 3rd. I love it.
Only bad part: the install. Getting those two front-most bolts removed and replaced is a BIATCH. The OBX is a sinch in comparison.
About the noise: what noise? I hear nothing. Perhaps it's because I have an SR and an N1 dual exhaust, but I hear no buzzing or whatever. Does this happen at like 120 or something?
