does anyone know how to remove window crank? this question is for only the ones with base, no fency power window.

i'm trying to winstall new speakers

the crank handle is held on with a C clip... you can make a hook of sorts to get it out or use needle nose pliers.  Should be opposite of the handle at it's base, where to pull from.  At least... that's what I remember... (been a while since I had to crank windows).

You can get a tool from  the auto parts store that just slides in a nd pushes the clip out. Costs about $2
