BOV not going off

I've seen alot of videos + my bros car when revved in an idle state their BoVs go off, on mine it doesnt. Is this normal? i have a Blitz DD BoV

I have the same BOV... it doesn't go off (loudly at least) unitl I have a good 5-6 psi at least.

i mean it goes off when i drive jus not when i rev when the car is still, not a major problem was jus curious

yup what they all said ... meaning once again ... its not building pressure/ boost to releas ... so u wont here it when stopped or what not .. just like if ur driving and u shift at low rpms or even high but while ur not boosting then u still wont hear it .......

Wtf does it matter? Are you blowing off in the mcdonalds drive through? As long as it works when it's being driven don't worry about it.

If you MUST see if it works, rev the throttle and place your hand infront of the bov; assuming it's atmospheric.
