all 240sx headers are currently sold out...i just had some contact with a representative this morning from 12:00-1:00am and he said that they were still available...send my payment in today, hopefully he set aside one set for me like requested...

same here, lol...wish they just swallowed the transaction fees or charged a few bucks more so they would be able to do it over the phone via credit card or debit card...would have made things a lot easier, but im not complaining...

anyone local go to the address posted and the shop is closed, my friends pick up mandrel bends from him all the time or used to... that shop there is closed... I've been there and trying to get a hold of John is not easy...

OBX ran hotshot out of business. It's a damn shame, HOTSHOT was a much better quality and better engineered header, to bad the majority of people that own 90's Nissans are broke asses......

Had my DC sports for 2 years now and still no problems....
FYI at the price DC sports sells there headers with ceramic coating at it's a deal. West Coast powder coating charges $150 to ceramic coat a header anyways....

so what are you getting at? is this a scam or something? did someone jack HS's domain or something...be a little more specific in what youre getting at...especially since many people are/have sent checks and money orders to that address...at least let the people who sent checks salvage their funds...if you dont know anything, dont hint at the fact that this may or may not be a scam...youre gonna trip people (me) out...

Actually I seem to know a bit more about the situation than you do.
The sweat shops that he mentions about over sea's are OBX,Psuedo,MEGAN.....
I also know that there was a lawsuit over the production of the OBX header, looking similar to the Hotshot header, pretty sure they paid him enough that he doesn't need to work anymore.
With that said no more HOTSHOTS for the 240sx......

i got an email back. sold out, but people who e-mailed get dibs in case of cancellations or whatnot.

at any rate i put out a stop payment and cancelled my order by e-mail.

i got a reply yesterday. i imagine the few people who are still running the company must be swamped with e-mails. if you didn't get your payment there in time i would just give up on it.

hotshot performance is a pretty well known reputable company. it's not like you're ordering from some shady ebay vendor based in thailand.

1st of all the shop on rosemead is closed, I've been there its all shut, now two of my friends who source mandrel bends from him both say the shop is closed

John Spangler does not answer phonecalls maybe because he knows the nature of why my friend is calling him

which is he was paid to do a side project and never completed it and we have not been able to recover our own parts that we gave him including a brand new ball bearing turbo

soooooo if you guys get your stuff which i hope you will and i dont doubt you will I s'pose we'll be making a new effort to find him to get OUR stuff back

I received a tracking info for my order but the ups.com says it's not a valid number. I'm going to contact him on what's going on. Damn...i can't wait to put this header in my ka24e!

chill yo, tracking numbers with ups usually do not display any info for up to 24 hours. try again tomorrow and if you don't see anything then, it is time to start freaking out!
