I was just wondering if anyone has tried making there own cable to hook up to their power fc. You can download the software at different websites but I haven’t seen anyone trying to make cables to connect to the power fc.

you have to have the box that converts the data also, it's not just software

that's the only 3rd party i've seen that messes around with pfc

actually i found some software on rx7club. its called fc tune. i downloaded it and it works. the guy that came up with the software also is making a cable connection but its taking him a while. so i was just checking if anybody else has heard of making cables or buying thing to make them for cheaper than 300-400 dollars.

it'd be great if there are more 3rd party folks that messes around with the pfc

Seems like you can't buy the Apexi PowerFC Excel Software anymore.

You can buy the Kit from an Apexi Dealer.

But... LOL, its just a laptop version of the commander, still no Excel type control.

Yeah dude, that looks like a blast, A huge blast. So, I would have to buy the apexi kit for 400 ish, or buy the datalogit for 400ish, then get this 4th party software, that might work, and is OBVIOUSLY having problems if you read that thread, because it is OS community.

I have never met anyone, so desperate to save a couple bucks, that they would spend hours, days, weeks, months trying to "make something work", that was $300 less.
