I doubt your using all the usdm kouki parts... I think you missed something when doing the swap.

I used all usdm kouki parts and just didn't use the foam..(cause it wont fit)

I was thinking about shaving the foam part but I think it would take too long. It is there for small impacts. If you shave it, it defeats the purpose. I decided to just leave it off.

Are you using the kouki bumper support? The kouki bumper support when mounted is about an inch higher than the zenki support when mounted. Here is a pic of mine. Do your brackets angle up somewhat? If so its a kouki support, if they angle down its a zenki support. Hope this helps.

Sorry if i'm being a bit ignorant here guys, but please bear with me. i've tried searching as best I can, and I just want to make sure i'm clear here.

I have a 97 so it definately has the kouki bumper support and usdm energy absorber foam.

will i have to modify the bumper support?

also a quick question about turn signals.....again sorry if my ignorance offends you....

the reason I ask is that someone hit my car in the front, and I'm having a local body shop do repairs, and im switching to jdm oem front bumper at the same time since I will save a nice chunk of money because the insurance is covering some parts costs.

Do the jdm turn signals plug directly to the stock usdm (kouki) turn signal wiring? Do i need to change plugs or anything?
