s13 WHEEL PLAY need idea's

I have a 1989 s13 with a 300zx rear knuckle conversion, and I'm wondering if any body can help me out with a problem. I am getting a bit of front to back play in the wheel. Even when the e-brake is engaged. Also I am getting a clunking sound sometimes when I take off in 1st gear. The noise and the play seem to be only on the passanger side rear wheel. All my lug nuts are torqued down, so I know its not that. My guess is either its a axle going bad, or maybe my viscous LSD is going bad.

Anybody got any idea's? Or has anyone else had the same problems?

Any help would be great!!

Mine does too, but I know I have bad rear wheel bearings, so I assume thats what it is.

could be loose axles nuts, but I do have cotter pins in there, so I'm not toooo worried.

Check your bushings while you are at it.

Sounds like wheel hop try subframe spacer bushings first. Then work from there.

well i found the problem! Tanabe just tack weld the heads of the bolts to bracket. I will have my buddy lay a bead all the way around it this time. I would have thought that Tanabe would have made a stronger product.
