Hey what's up guys sad day today my car starter went. I hate not being able to drive my car luckily i was at home and not out anywhere. How much am i looking at this is gonna be any one got any ideas, or has anyone's starter went i got a 91 fastback with 100,000 miles its the first major thing since i got it 2 years ago.

The starter itself will probably run you about $125 for a rebuilt one at autozone, or whatever.. This is a DIY. not that hard.. I put one in my car in about 45 min.. I'm not a mechanic..

You can usually get a rebuilt one for about $80 if you have a shop buy it for you. Private sale will cost about $140, give or take 20 bucks.
If you are in the california bay area, pickup a copy of classified flea market. There is starter repair shop that advertises out of San Leandro. They even deliver for free! |
