My 240sx recently underwent some major body work and it looks like everything is coming out great. One thing that bothers the &*%%$ outta me is a fat gap between headlights/grille and hood. Is there rubber piece of some sort that mounts to the edge of the hood, because I'm probly gonna end up redrilling holes for headlights to move them up a little...
![]() ** I'm using "cam's" car as a guide because my pics aren't ready yet. Thanks man <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]() |

You call that a gap!?! I wish mine was that close and my car has never been in an accident.
Meanwhile, I would love to see a side profile shot of your car.

Did you not read under the pic, he said he is using someone elses pic, becuase his isnt ready, so that is not his car. And what is wrong with the lip, it looks soooo muc better that way. If you bought a Skyline or RX7 with a black lip would you paint it, I wouldn't. Anyway there should be a rubber thing there, I think, I never really paid attention to something like that when I am newa an S14.

That's not my car guys, but i also like the look of the primed lip. I wonder what it will look like if he (cam) were to prime the sideskirts black...anyway, here's the gap i'm talking about. Could someone let me know if i'm missing a rubber seal or maybe snap a pic of the hood in its open position. Thanks all.
![]() Note: I'm talking about the gap ABOVE the headlights; the one between headlights and bumper I already took care of by adjusting bumper retainer. |

I guess I forgot to read the fine print at the bottom of that huge pic of someone else's car with the boxed off area. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hmmm.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hmmm:'>

we're you the one who bought my front end parts? The hood needs a hood seal. It's a long black rubber piece that goes on the front edge of the hood. It cost $9. You could get it at any nissan dealer or online parts store. MAke sure you get the plastic bolts (you need 15) for it also but you could also use sheet metal screws from home depot.
