will a sr20det ecu work on a kat . as in subbing the ka ecu for a sr ecu so that it will send the right amount of fuel and do every thing that a turbo ecu should do. just curious.

No. The SR20DET has a distributorless ignition system. The KA has an electronic distributor that requires ECU input. The SR20DET cannot control the KA distributor.
Even if it would work, the fuel maps wouldn't be correct and the rev limit would be too high. |
