I actually wouldn't mind getting the taillights if they came in a "jewel" casing style with black (not jewel) housing.

I saw these new taillights for the '98-'02 Accord coupe, its not too bad or flashy. It was some weird but unique design thats nowhere close to "euros", "altezza", or "Pokemon" taillights. Looked like something that could come straight from the factory......now if only I can find a pic.

my friend Steve owns a '97 'teg... silver. it's a nice looking car, he got it as a hand-me-down from his brother, who was a total riceboy... luckily, he didn't get too far with it, just a shiny shiftknob and a stillen muffler. sounds alright, actually. his brother's moved on to a brand new RSX... poor RSX. anyway, steve's gonna get 2.25" piping cat-back on it to finish off the exhaust and get rid of the high pitch, and i'm helping him black out quite a bit of his car... we started with the emblems on the back, and the tip ad trim ring of his antenna, and the front badge... it's got the stock steel stamped wheels, which his brother had bling-bling fake five-spoke chrome hubcaps on. we ripped those off and painted the wheels gloss black with engine enamel. then we painted his side mirrors black with duplicolor...
oh, the windows are limo-tinted, too. so it's a silver 'teg with all this black on it... no chrome anywhere. it looks mean. except for the tails, which are stock. he was gonna get blackouts for 'em, but they don't make blackouts for the Teg for whatever reason. the idea to tint them ourselves came along, and we even had the paint bought when i saw some black-housing euros in an issue of SCC. they kinda look like they're inspired by the s2000's lights, but in the end they're just plain old bad ass...
his car looks like it just drove out of hell, i swear.

i'd go with a black housing euro... but i'd flush out the middle section.. you know apc would exploit (sp?) the middle section like crazy... but that might not be that bad

You know...something funny is why in the hell do all these companies call Altezza style tail lights "Euro style". There is absolutely NOTHING Euro about them. They came from a damn TOYOTA Altezza...I guess they couldn't sell "Japanese Style" taillights to rednecks with S10's and Z71's...Which brings up a whole other situation...Those people with pickup trucks that put clear tail lights and altezza crap on them are the same people who poke fun at "ricers"...HAHA! They need to back up to a g'damn mirror and take a gander...Probably wouldn't sink in though...
