boosted98gst - I haven't been able to fix the starting problem. I was at NOPI this weekend and I was just letting it sit to see if things would dry out and it is still having the same problem. I'm going to take off the filter, and do everything else that people were saying. I'll keep the other thread updated as well. Oh, btw, the purple cleaning stuff worked out really good!

240 is back up and running! Woo! Stupid spark plugs, I had to buy some good ones. The ones that were in there before I bought again and they didn't work. So, I had to go back out and by more and bought good ones and it worked! Woo! Thanks guys!

Glad to see some progress on that 240 of yours! I wish that title could have been obtained for the shell, but I've since found another car in somewhat decent shape.

Don't worry about the haters, you care about performance before looks, and thats fine with me... the car is just as fast in primer than it is in a nice paint job. Unless those Honda guys were right, then metallic paint and decals do add 50 horse?

looks good keep it up? Any news on the kit? What wheels are you planning on getting? Really I think a black cherry onyx from the 00 SC300 would look good on the car! Or I would do imperial jade mica from the 98 GS300. You can never go wrong with with black though like Basalt Black from the 2001 Audi S4. Ok i study colors too much i like painting alot I think I have actually painted more things in my life than anything else. I painted my whole entertainment center and it looks nice. Did it Porsche Seal Grey looks hot! Gimme a pm if you have any questions about paint. I got tons of colors that people don't normally go for.

Anyways, haven't updated in a while, but my body kit still hasn't come in. I don't know what is going on there, but I'm getting really mad about it. Car was suppose to be painted last weekend, but the lack of a body kit is keeping me from doing so.

On another note, is anyone interested in trading their coilovers for some JIC magic coilovers? They're too stiff for me, and I'm getting annoyed with them on my roads. Let me know!

Okay, so here is what's going on. I called the company that I ordered my body kit from and they said that they have been on backorder for a long time for that kit. I said screw it and I'm not going to do a body kit. I have something else in mind . Anyways, the car is going into paint this friday. I'll make sure to get some pictures for everyone. Still undecided on a color, any suggestions?

Also, I'm going to need some nice shoes for it. So, if anyone knows of any good offset FN's or some nice MB weapons, LET ME KNOW!

Dude I was reading through this thread, and although I am not a noob to Nissan's I am a noob to this forum. However, keep posting up, because the coolest thing is when a project starts at this level and becomes a whole different animal within a year or two.

Haters and those alike will always have something shitty to say about something but when it comes down to it, it isn't their money or their project.

Yeah, the blacktop should be going in over winter. So far I'm going to have a built head minus solid lifters, top mounted T3/T4 (no baller GT series yet!) and the intake setup I was going to trade you. I also have a 300ZX transmission and a MegaSquirt-II in the mix.

i'm doing a similar build to you with a coupe and noone hated on me really. don't know why they're hating on you. at least you can afford paint, although the paint on my 93 coupe isn't too bad. i'm broke from buying all the baller parts, i'll buy your rear JIC magic coils from you cuz i already have front teins.

nice build man, and forget the haters, most of us aren't even mechanics for a living. i'd like to see them do what we do for a living.

Oh, did you make a build thread as well? I'd like to see it. I think I'm going to look into trading the JIC's; that way I atleast have another set of coilovers lol. But thanks man, I really appreciate it!

Okay, I got the car back today. It was painted a 1998 Nissan Slate Blue Met.. It was suppose to come out like a gunmetalish color with a blueish tint, but when I went to pick it up, I saw that it had a purpleish tint. I'm kind of disappointed, but it still looks sick. I'll post pictures tomorrow!
