The live axle at the rear smacks of a southern U.S. hotrodder. While the work looks clean I have to join ixfxi in his feelings. Such a waste of a good Japanese car just to be Amurican 1 duh!! I am sure its real fast in the quarter mile but ya you might as well just do that with an American car to begin with. Should have kept the multilink suspension.

Gotta agree with drift freaq as well as ixfxi that thats a lot of hard work... But just not something I prefer with a japanese car... Well to each their own... Lets get a vid or time slip for the 1/4 mile with this monster of a car...

That thing is BA! On a side note, I saw at gt47 in person last night and DAMN they are big. It made the 3 gt42s on cars next to it look tiny

Swap a whole chevy drivetrain and suspension into a 240 just doesn't make sense to me ether...

Nice work but its too domestic, probably would have been cheaper and faster if it was done on a domestic car. They wouldnt have spent so much on custom parts to convert the rear end.

Guys get real. The 240sx is a usdm car and is made for the american market. It comes with a ka, not an sr. So why cant he give his car some american flare seeing how it was changed to suite, huh, wha? The american market... Maybe they shoulda stuck a body kit on it with equips and be like every other 240... with a "jdm tyte yo" theme to it.

Well what's the point of using a 240? Seems like a lot of work when domestics are a dime a dozen. If they had started with a F-Body or whatever they could have saved themselves a lot of time and money? It's not like 240's are some wonder chassis.
Judging from the pics they obviously know what they're doing as functionality goes so them using a 240 chassis makes even less sense, unless they like had a shell laying around the shop or something. |
