Are you asking why there is a loud "whirring" noise form under the hood, like a big fan blade?

If so, you need to either:

1) Remove the clutch fan and go with an electric fan setup

2) Replace the fan clutch

it happened to my car also and its loud as hell and makes your car feel like it has now power. usually when the fan goes bad the clutches in the fan are fully engaged and not disengaging. no use to try fix the clutch fan so just by another one or go wit an electric fan

Its pretty bad, it'll cause your car to overheat easily when your not driving. Plus also on another note, why is it a CLUTCH fan?? Why even have clutch's or bearings (whatever) between the fan and the mounting point? Why not have the connection be solid? I never understood that.....

If the clutch fan is engaged all the time i don't see how it could be a detriment to the way the car performs... It's only annoying if you don't want your car to sound like a truck. If you're bothered by the sound the fan makes, get a new clutch fan from Nissan.

Clutch fan > Electric fan

The fan will eventually become louder and louder.. will creat such a force under your hood that you can feel the gain of power since its blowing like a jet engine.. forces so strong that will blow your motor off the mounts crashing and smashing through the firewall and potentially smashing right into you

its the same concept as in a VLSD. the clutch has heat sensitive fluid in it that locks as the temperature gets warmer. this way you get more airflow when the engine is hot, and less parasitic drag when the temp is cool. same reason we put thermostats on e-fans instead of having them run 24/7.

if you ever had a clutch fan seize completely, you'll understand why its not really that desirable. the engine feels sluggish, sounds like a truck, and the belt squeals all the damn time from trying to spin that fan up to high speed.

when the clutch fan siezes... adds more load on the pulley which could damage something in the long run...

i'd personally stick w/ another clutch fan... i never really found electrical fan setup being reliable... although i only base my experience on dual flex-a-lite fans (the one that came w/ a shroud) on a koyo radiator but still get up to 120 degrees Celsius after two drift runs... but that does not happen when i went back to my stock fan and shroud...
