BOV ? stock setup + compressor surge sounds

So i have a sr20det, with sidemount and stock bov setup, and theres compressor surge sounds when i rev the engine or while driving, they're quiet but there. Should i upgrade to a hotpipe style one before i blow my t25?

well, do you know if the bov is working?do you know you're getting good vacume and there isnt a crack/break in the line?

a little compressor surge may occur, but when there isnt enough boost for the bov to open...but thats very, very small amounts.

does your BOV sound at higher psi? (when letting off the gas when driving harder?)
mine always had a little surge during normal driving, when i boosted more then i would here the bov, your tubo wont blow just on stock psi surge, maybe in a few years...

some surge is pretty normal i guess, especially when you let off the gas just when the turbo was about to produce boost. happens to me uhhm...always? yeah. of course with an induction kit the noise gets more noticable. so like i said, pretty normal. happens if boost is not enough for the BOV to open.
