Skate and Halo are probably my favorite games of all time.

Skate is non stop enjoyment if you actually skate. Literally I will not be able to put down the controller for hours.... its NOTHING like the tony hawk games.... the tricks are actually hard to do and everything is legit.... no flying over houses or anything. And I LOVE how they made it one big city.

Halo is just a really really really good first person shooter....loved them ever since the original Doom came out.

tony hawk is done for. especially for people who skate.

i spent like three hours just doing nollieflip crooks on little ledges. its ridiculously fun.

i think the greatest part of the whole game is that you can do lazy ollies, like ollie up a curb and land back wheels first just like you would in real life if you were chillin or tired or something. sooo sick

took me around 9-10 hours to beat on normal btw....

First off! Skate is an awesome game. Really recommended if you want a realistic skating game!

And I wasn't really a halo fan but I got it anyways and its a damn good game. Beat both normal and heroic modes in about 8 hours. =\ nerd.

Dude people just go to Wal Mart. I went there the night it came out after i got off of work. they had a ton of copies of the special edition and regular. They said no one thinks they have it so no one goes there lol. Also The game is great. At first I thought it was a lot like Halo 1 and 2 but really there are a lot of differences. Everything is smooth and the campaighn gameplay and story line are awesome. I dont understand why everyone on all the game sight (IGN ect) are saying its overrated because its like the other. Fact is you can only improve on a FPS game such as Halo 2 so much. And I think they achieved that with Halo 3 in everyway

+1 to Microsoft and Bungie for an awesome game

Also i love the new master chief suites

wat i dont like is that matchmaking limits the maps. when playing matchmaking free for all they only allow very little maps. *sigh*

I dont understand all these HALO haters. If you dont like it then STFU and go somewhere else. Its a game, there are tons of games out there that I dont like but I dont trash those threads or whatever.

The game is awsome and love multiplayer. I find myself playing the co-op over and over. Its fun, getting the skulls are pretty fun too. Its too bad that you cant search for custom games like Infection aka zombies.

so i guess to get it you have to get all the achievments...
some of them look pretty damn hard. like a kill frenzy in rumble pit. 4 consecutive kills in a ranked match...pretty tough stuff. im still trying to get the one where you splatter someone with a mongoose.

i like to pretend that i have a life but i dont. i play halo far to much.

I ended up ordering a military appreciation pack for the halo package deal with the HALO 360, halo3, bioshock, extra controller, remote, 20G hd, 1 year subscription to live and cables. Now I need to find a long ass LAN cable to run it from my router to the living room so I can play xbox live.

I tried legendary today, by the time I beat the first level, I had watched the latest episodes of Prison Break, The Pickup Artist (dont laugh), and Heroes...

That part where you are at the harbor area, where you first meet the brutes with the sledge hammers destroyed me. One attempt I had the hammer guy down in the sewer part pelting him with the plasma pistol because I had no ammo for anything else. I emptied 2 pistols into him and he didnt even budge lol ><

I'm really not looking forward to the flood levels later

just had a chance to play this at my friends house online...my god it is so god damn fun. gotta love the sword and hammer matches, PGR4 just came out wonder if it is any good, still have to pick up skate as well
